We at CSI appreciate the special concerns of transfer students and are readily available to answer your questions or address your concerns. We welcome transfer students to our campus and look forward to assisting you in your transition to CSI.

CSI is a senior college of The City University of New York (CUNY) serving 14,400 students. The 204-acre park-like campus is the largest single campus in NYC and combine beautiful surroundings with top-notch facilities. A sophisticated network links more than 2,500 computers on campus, enabling students and faculty to transmit voice, data, and multimedia communications. The combination of modern equipment with CSI’s highly-credentialed faculty and hands-on experience prepares students for both professional careers and graduate school admission.

The College offers more than 80 undergraduate programs in collaboration with a number of selective academic programs, learning communities and undergraduate and graduate research opportunities. Among these are the Verrazano School, offering students a unique undergraduate education through academically-motivated learning communities; and the Teacher Education Honors Academy at CSI for select students who want to inspire enthusiasm for Math and Science in middle and high school students.

Dolphin Cove, the highly-anticipated apartment-style residence halls, features high-end amenities that foster a sense of community. Residents will enjoy lounges, a cardio-focused fitness center, meeting and multi-purpose spaces, private study rooms, mailroom, business center, vending areas, and laundry.

Accept an invitation to excellence by joining the thousands of students who transfer to competitive programs at the College of Staten Island.
