Daemen College is a private, nonsectarian, co-educational college in Amherst, NY. Our location is in a safe and attractive suburban setting. Daemen offers convenient access to one of the country’s most vibrant regions, spanning Buffalo-Niagara, the Great Lakes, and a cross-border corridor with Ontario, Canada, less than a two-hour drive from cosmopolitan Toronto.

 

Our student population consists of 1700 undergraduate students of which 30% are transfer students.

Transfer students choose to attend Daemen for several reasons:

  • We accept up to 90 transfer credits; with our Transfer Course Database students can easily see how their previous classes will transfer

  • Daemen offers generous merit scholarships up to $12,000

  • Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship students are annually awarded $1,000

  • 96% of our undergraduate students receive financial aid

  • Over 80 Articulation Agreements; enroll jointly with your current college and Daemen during your first year of school, you’ll be able to take your two-year degree and transfer seamlessly into one of Daemen’s four-year degree programs
