Campus Location

Rivier University in Nashua, New Hampshire, is a four-year Catholic institution offering professional preparation and a liberal arts education for both undergraduate and graduate students. For more than 80 years, the University has offered academic excellence in a learning environment that seeks to educate the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.

Rivier has agreements with a number of community colleges, making your transfer seamless and easy. Start your degree at a community college and finish in one of Rivier’s many degree programs. It gets you started fast and saves you money.

Rivier offers a variety of student support services, including the Academic Support Center, Counseling Center, Career Development Center, Global Engagement Office, Multicultural Student Office, Campus Ministry and more. More than 99 percent of undergraduate students receive financial aid; Rivier awards over $15 million in institutional aid annually. Transfer scholarships are also available for eligible students.

The University has four residence halls with a capacity of 450 students—substance-free housing is available. Service learning, internships, clinical rotations, practicums and updated facilities provide hands-on learning for students in all majors.

With quality academic programs, facilities and resources to enhance the learning experience, Rivier positions students for future success. Graduates leave with the knowledge and background necessary for the competitive global environment, as well as the skills employers demand — critical thinking, communication, and analytical reasoning.

Rivier’s 68-acre campus is centrally located in the heart of New England, an easy drive to beaches, mountains, and major metropolitan areas like Boston, Hartford, and Portland. Nashua has been voted the “Best Place to Live in America” twice by Money magazine for its mix of service and high-tech companies; cafés, shopping, and off-campus entertainment; and plenty of outdoor activities.
