How We Rate Transfer Colleges
The CTG Transfer Rating is College Transfer Guide's independant editorial assessment of how welcoming and supportive a college is for transfer students.
Unlike traditional college rankings, our ratings focus specifically on the transfer experience. We evaluate factors such as:
• Transfer acceptance rates
• Credit transfer policies
• Transfer advising and student support
• Affordability and value
• Overall transfer friendliness
Each college receives a 0–100 CTG Transfer Rating along with a descriptive category, making it easier to compare schools from a transfer student's perspective.
Our ratings are intended to complement—not replace—your own research when choosing the right college.
The CTG Transfer Rating is an independent editorial assessment developed by College Transfer Guide and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any college or university.
