Continue your college journey at Wells College! Transfer students are always welcome in the Wells family. We take your education personally. Ask any of the approximately 500 undergraduate students on our beautiful campus overlooking Cayuga Lake in the scenic New York Finger Lakes region. With 28 majors and 48 minors, students are busy with a well-rounded liberal arts curriculum focused on real-life practicality. Our intimate class size simulates a learning atmosphere similar to graduate school seminars, allowing students to have thorough discussions and foster life-long relationships with faculty. Find or create a unique major to suit your diverse ambitions. Our Transfer Admissions Counselor will make transitioning to Wells easy by helping you through every step of the application process as well as performing a credit evaluation, so you will know exactly which credits will transfer and which requirements you will need to complete in order to receive your degree.

Wells students interested in specific programs, such as business or engineering, can also attend courses at nearby institutions, including Cornell University, Ithaca College, Clarkson University, University of Rochester, and Columbia University.

Approximately 99% of Wells students receive financial aid. Transfer students who have excellent academic records are automatically considered for the Wells College Transfer Scholarship, which awards up to $15,000 per year.
